Welcome to my studio! What is Ice Dyeing?

Ice-dyeing is this very cool process of putting ice or snow in contact with dye over fabric.

Explore the Ice-dyed Fabric Collection

As the ice slowly melts...

it breaks apart all the colour particles within the dye powder.

Over time...

as the ice melts, these colour particles move over the fabric, slowly giving shapes of landscapes and abstract patterns.

The results are spectacular!

It's a never ending source of pleasure as an artist to come up with unusual ways to play with this process. My goal is to create visual adventures with my fabrics that you, as the sewer in turn, can bring along in your own sewing journey.
