Collection: Ice-dyed Collection
Ice dyeing is a textile art technique that involves applying powdered dye onto ice covered fabric, allowing the melting ice to disperse the colours organically. The process creates unique and unpredictable patterns, as the dye spreads in a watercolor-like fashion. As the ice melts, the colours blend and seep into the fabric, resulting in vibrant and intricate designs. This method often has serendipitous and visually striking outcomes, making each piece of ice-dyed fabric a one-of-a-kind creation. It's a never ending source of pleasure as an artist to come up with unusual ways to play with this process. My goal is to create visual adventures with my fabrics.
